Just in time for Valentine's Day, I've received a wonderful gift. It's not the 8 lb box of Russel Stover chocolates I've been hoping for, but Husband still has twenty-four hours to make that dream a fat, fat reality. For the time being, I'll keep working on this bag of milk chocolate almond Hershey Kisses, and announce that Susan over at the wonderful blog, I Think; Therefore, I Yam, has decided I'm sweet, or blog sweetly, or has overlooked my every-other-day grumpiness and rewarded me for getting out of bed on a daily basis. Thank you, Susan!
As per usual, however, I'm required to relate seven facts and pass it on. I'm feeling quite rotund and compliant, so I shall rotundly comply. Let's see...
1.) Today is the first day it's actually snowed here in Kansas City. I've named it Snowmageddon, because I can't see my driveway. Later, I might roll down the front porch and make a snow-angel-whale.
2.) As I type this, I'm listening to Carly Simon's Greatest hits, mainly because I'm in my late twenties going on my early sixties. If you have an urge to join me in this sad endeavor, go here.
3.) Like the grains of sand on the great beaches of the world, my Hershey Kisses wrappers have become innumerable. If this was a game of "Guess the number in the jar" at a state fair, my guess would be eighty-hundred-millioneth-ten.
4.) I can't reach the remote from here, so I will patiently wait, until the kids get up from their nap, and can they retrieve it for me. You shouldn't have to travel three feet away, unless it's absolutely necessary. Most remote-related accidents happen a foot from the couch.
5.) I had a hot dog wrapped in a piece of bread, for lunch.
6.) I straightened my hair, on Saturday. Most of the news outlets here were clogged with the news.
7.) My favorite conversation this weekend:
"So, how far along are you?"
"Oh, about ten weeks."
"Yep, they took my abs out with the last pregnancy, so nothing's keeping this baby from sitting on my feet."
Tomorrow, I shall pass on this wonderful award to you lucky peeps....
Until Next Time, Readers!
