Hold the phone, people...I just found the "radio" feature on my iTunes. It's disco from here until the end of this solid gold, sparkly platform shoed post....
Now then, I don't know if I've ever introduced you to Anna, the mastermind behind My Life and Kids and the awesome Finding the Funny (which yours truly participates in, every Wednesday) but, unlike me, she runs a highly respectable blog establishment. She's organized, funny, and does craft projects with her kids. From what I can tell from her pictures, she has great hair.
...and she asked me to be friends with her.
At first, I said, "Who...me? People might find out."
And then she was like, "Yeah, that's the idea."
I quickly typed back, "Ok, as long as this isn't some ploy to make me feel like I'm in with the cool kids, and then you guys turn around and set me up with the hot guy at prom, all the while waiting to chuck carefully balanced pig's blood on me from the rafters of the school's stage."
Ecstatic, I put my formal dress back under the floor boards, and agreed to join her and ten other fabulous bloggers as a community leader in the brand spankin' new Blog Frog Community.
Reply to Anna: Are you sure you want me to be a leader? I generally like to stand in the back of the line while someone holds my hand and shows me where the buffet line starts, if I'm at the right end for the silverware, etc.
Reply to Me: Yes.
So, today, I'm happy to announce that the community is off and running. We're already talking about:
- Blogging goals for 2012
- Pros and cons of tummy tucks
- Being terrified to take our kids out in public
- What I ate for breakfast this morning ....ok, not really. But if you all are interested, just let me know and I'll get something going.
...wait, that came out wrong.
The giveaway ends May 1st. And if you'll guide your eyes downward, you'll notice I've installed a handy, dandy link for you to enter, but to also take advantage of ten additional chances. Because my mom taught me to always give ten chances.
She'd say, "Paige, always give ten additional chances for everything...except bowling. Because, after the third try, it's someone else's turn."
So, I hope you'll come join us. I've put a handy link on the side of the blog, if you ever want to pop over...And I hope you do...:)
Until Next Time, Readers!
Update: Rafflecopter doesn't seem to be working with the blog today, so, if you'd like to enter the giveaway, go ahead and click here ...my most sincere apologies. If the Rafflecopter widget pops on your screen by some miracle, tell it I hate it.
