Reporting Live: The Fat Eagle Has Landed...and a Winner!

Afternoon Readers,

I hope all of you are having a wonderful week not depending on pain killers. Unfortunately, this post has been sponsored by Percocet.

And our announcer says,

"Percocet....because you can't go through life completely unconscious. Back to you, Paige."

Anywho, now isn't the time for delivery stories, but I would like to congratulate the winner of this week's contest, Tracy, the owner of the hilarious and fantastic blog Logy Express for her guess of a ten pound baby boy. Tracy, I'll be sending that Amazon gift card your way very shortly.

Everyone, Doc Holiday was born on 9/4/12, weighing in at a whopping nine pounds and seven very fat ounces. He's so fat, I'll have to share a picture later on, just so you believe me.

In the meantime, just know that I miss you all and will be back to the blogosphere soon. Look forward to another fabulous guest post tomorrow. I have to go feed this baby a gallon of formula and try to reach the ice cream I stored way too far away from my bed. Percocet tastes great with ice cream.

Until Next Time, Readers!

  10. I don't think my kids weighed that much until they were 3 months old. Whew! Enjoy those percs, and may the twins decide they love cleaning house & serving their mother.

  11. Congrats on Doc Hollywood!!! Love to kiss on fat babies!!!! I'll bet he's the sweetest thing ever!

C-Sections rock. I had 4 of them. Take it easy - trust me - the drugs make you think you're all fine until they wear off and you realize...ummmm...maybe I shouldn't have gone for that run when my baby is two weeks old.

    Congrats!!!!!

  13. Holy Crap! Was he just hanging out in there eating groceries for the past nine months? Wow!

Congratulations, Paige!!! Send little Doc to me when he is three and I'll teach him to shoot. He has to know how to shoot with a name like that. :)

  14. Congratulations, and a huge welcome to a huge Doc! Go easy on your mama, Doc. It isn't easy birthing a person of your considerable girth. And Paige, you should start doing bicep curls or something - that's a lotta baby to carry around, and now you have to do it with your arms.

  17. Congratulations!!! My little boy was 9lbs 10oz, so I know what you mean about "fat eagle." LOL. The nurses assumed I had gestational diabetes (I didn't) and kept trying to give me that sugar free jello stuff. Blech. My baby looked like a 3 month old the day he was born. :D
