I Wasn't Even Late to This One...

Attack of the thirty pounds of bronzer...

Afternoon Readers,

So, I made it to today's interview, with time to spare. And I wore makeup, and showered beforehand, and drank coffee to simulate an alert individual.

Here's the proof.

Until Next Time, Readers!

  2. You write at night? Does that count FB updates? How do you do that?
This would be better written comment, but my baby just fell on her face.

    1. Anything like the book, columns, guest posts I have to get done I do at night ...times when MY baby isn't falling on his face. But my FB updates I usually just spread out over the day, when I have a minute or ten seconds.

  3. Did you sing? I'm pretty sure that is a picture of you singing.

    1. It does look like it, doesn't it? Luckily, the station decided they wouldn't punish the greater metro area, and said absolutely no singing...;)

    1. Thanks, Kristen! Some nights I do just sit and stare at the TV because the day took it out of me, but it was amazing how much I got done when I told Husband to play video games so I couldn't use the TV...lol

  5. Paige, you are adorable. If I was on TV, they'd have to put like 50 pounds of bronzer on to make me not look like a ghost lovechild.

I have to check out this book. Not a mom yet, but it sounds great.

    1. You're too sweet, Sarah! They said to put the makeup on pretty thick, so I um ...did. LOL Otherwise, I would've looked preeeeety pasty. And thank you for your interest in the book!!

  6. Paige, that was an excellent interview!!! I loved it! It was so encouraging! I'm trying to write a book and I've got 40k words and feel like I'm just trudging through alongside potty-training and breaking up fights all day long trying to find the time to squeeze in book writing time, as well as blog writing time. This was so encouraging to me. I loved it! And you didn't look over-bronzed in the interview at all. ;-)

    1. 40k words is huge! Humor tends to be a little bit shorter than fiction, so I stopped around 49-50k. But if you're doing a humor book, you're pretty darn close! It can be super hard to fit writing time in around all of your other daily duties, so that's why I stick to the "a little bit everyday" motto, and try not to worry about how much time it takes. Thank you for making me feel better about the bronzer though!...hahaha

  8. So I watched your interview last night with my hubby and I am so impressed! I thought writers were supposed to be anti-social introverts (oh...that's just me?). You did so great!!!

  10. I loved it. You looked relaxed and very much at ease. Would love to buy you a gin and tonic if we ever meet, and discuss your Butch, Sundance and Doc Holiday and how they compare with my Damian and Satan.

  11. Gorgeous. Articulate. SECOND BOOK??? Can't wait! Also, I had to actually pause the video so I could laugh at the "rehab you didn't really ask for" line. :) Well done, lady!

  13. I think that a post devoted to camp pictures is necessary! I am sure that a link up with Grace @CampPatton is in order for that.
